ADP, Checked!

1

Finally, I have completed my second semester and that marks the end of ADP for me 🎉 It had been a short yet beautiful journey. Let me summarize what actually happened this semester. It started in mid January and ended early May, quite short, right? I have taken 4 subjects which are Calculus 2, Physics 1, Statistics 1 and TITAS (Tamadun Islam Tamadun Asia). If you say it's tough, you are right! At least, for me. But I got through it!! 🎓

My first semester starts with one long week of OBS 😵 It was compulsory for all Petronas Scholars, some went in December, some in January. Mine was in January. It was fun because I got to learn kayak, camping, and whaling. However, it was also exhausting and pain in the ass, really. Nevertheless, I learned a lot about discipline and responsibilities despite complaining most of the time and begging it to end (lol) 😂 To be honest, I did mourn after OBS ends, not because I miss the memories (not that sentimental kind of person) but because of sunburn! My skin burnt and caused Tinea Versicolor (panau) to appear on my face and it took weeks or even months to heal :(

Second semester is pretty much the same with the first one, it's just that I've become more familiar with the place, system, and community. In short, I already know what to do. I didn't join sports or clubs, though because I want to focus (still my results sucks haha) but I've did a lot other activities with my friends, mostly we go places like central I-city, Sunway Lagoon, tour around KL, movies, movies, and movies. My second semester is full of fun and games. I really wish I could do more with my favorite people 😍🌺

Okay, enough with the fun and games, let's start with something serious, shall we? As I said before, the courses I've taken this semester were pretty tough for me. One advice for the upcoming students (an advice from Fayyadh actually), take "easier to score" courses first because the 3.5 requirement is important but Petronas and Taylor's will always find ways to help us. However, don't take it simple and do work hard ✊! However, if you took tougher subjects, "credit transfer" will be easier as the courses there are tougher. It's either "bersusah susah dahulu, bersenang senang kemudian" or the other way around.

I am blessed to have supportive friends that helped me in my studies. We usually did study group together (most of the time gossips) but they really helped me to face this semester. My physics mid-term was quite a disappointment, but I don't give up although I regret it a bit. The past is in the past :) Hopefully, my final results are better 🙇  The key to ADP success is you have to be diligent, never skip assignments and please be committed in group assignments as it will affect others :) If possible, find people you are already closed or comfortable with as group mates.

One really good news in this semester is... *drumroll*😂😂😂

I GOT ADMITTED TO MY DREAM SCHOOL - University of Wisconsin-Madison. I was so over the moon because this is what I've always wanted and the wait is finally over 😆😆 I'll be going there with Nisa, Manji, Aina, Jing Kai, Izzati,Cha, Ehsan, Nabhan, Zarif, Izaz, Kakoq, Fayyadh, and Sarvesh. Now, I'm busy searching for houses and completing my Visa. Pray that I'll be able to settle all of this.

I will highlight more important events and important person on my next entry because I don't want to drag as this is not SPM essay. okay. I'm actually dragging it. Till next time! 👋💕

p/s: Sorry if it's boring. My writing skill worsen and my vocabs are limited. I need to seek help.
